can not use dialer - skype took over outgoing calls - Help!

Hi,
I am not sure what happened but since this morning I can not make any phone calls. Untill now after I entered a phone number usually 2 options showed up: "dialer or skype".  Now, there is no option for the dialer, as soon as I hit the green call button, skype turns on and requests a paswword for login to my skype account.
Can anybody help me turn this feature off? I need to make a phone call. Did I get a bug somehow?? Any suggestions? I have an LG Optimus, 3 weeks old.. Had to replace the previous one aftre 6 months because of charhing problems. I had did not have similar issues previously with my old Optimus T.
